Mkhonza Ready To Bounce Back Former Black Leopards defender Siphiwe Mkhonza has not given up hope of finding a new club despite the lengthy period he has spent on the sidelines. Mkhonza was released by Leopards at the end of the 2011/12 season, having started only three league games. Since then he has been without a club, with some thinking he had called it a day in football. But the player, who has also been in the books of the likes of Kaizer Chiefs, Golden Arrows and AmaZulu, believes he still has a lot to offer. “First of all, I just need to clear up something about my date of birth. I was not born on 25 October 1979 but rather on 2 January 1981, so I’m 32. This confusion arose because of complications when my parents registered me after birth. "I’m currently hard at training, together with Calvin Sosibo, and on the lookout for a club. I stayed away from football for healing purposes, but now I’m ready to go back and impart my experience to the younger guys.” #LM10
