Mmmm! I tell ya, it is worth heating up the kitchen for breaded and fried squash! Does your squash hide until it is the size of a club? I just found a Costa Romanesc Zucchini and sliced it into 20 rounds, dipped into flour, cornmeal, salt and pepper, then in egg, then in the flour again and fried it up nice and golden. The hard part is waiting for it to cool enough to eat it. I made up some cocktail sauce for dipping. Yum!
