Mmmmm-kaaayyyy .... whew! What a day ... Today, Megan was moved out of ICU into a regular care hospital room. (YAAAAAAAYYYY!) Because of the move, Megans pain management regimen was understandably disrupted and she was uncomfortable for longer than any parent cared for. The new care team caught the error and fixed it immediately and now Megan is handling her situation better. Remember the last bit of surgery that was supposed to happen six weeks from now? Yeah - because of Megans stellar progress, the orthopedic surgery team has decided to schedule the reconstruction of her left knee THIS FRIDAY. This could mean that our family will be reunited with everyone sooner than expected. Bill, Kristi and I are taking the nights in shifts to help coordinate Megans care with the new team.
