“Moab has been at ease from his youth; He has settled on his dregs, And has not been emptied from vessel to vessel, Nor has he gone into captivity. Therefore his taste remained in him, And his scent has not changed. (Jeremiah 48:11 NKJV) So many times we make decisions in our Youth that have far reaching consequences in life. Choosing a life of ease may sound nice and convenient but its also a life of mediocrity. My father used to tell me, Son, nothing worth doing is ever easy. See, the easy path is rarely the most rewarding. A life of meaning is also a life of challenge. The motto of the British SAS is Who Dares Wins. Its when you step out and take a chance that great things happen. Yes, you might fall, but if you get back up you didnt fail. If youre born again and have accepted Christ you have an assurance that when you step out at Gods leading then your steps will be sure. When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble. (Proverbs 4:12 NIV) Dont be like Moab and chose the easy life. Dont settle for an occupation some test, guidance counselor, or bad choices have hung on you. Dare to win with God. Step out at His leading. You live only once so dont waste time on instant gratification or the devils lies. Be great in God or be meh in the World, its your choice. Your Deliverer is coming...
