Modal Realism says: (i) possible worlds exist, (ii) every possible world is a concrete entity, (iii) any possible world is causally and spatiotemporally isolated from any other possible world, and (iv) our world is among the possible worlds. The multiverse says something similar...although the mainstream theorist community is divided between supporters of supersymmetry and supporters of the multiverse hypothesis. As i understand, supersymmetrys likelihood would be bolstered by a low value for the mass of the Higgs Boson, and proved by the discovery of fundamental particles heavier than the Higgs Boson. Whereas, multiverses likelihood would be bolstered by a high value for the mass of the Higgs Boson, and disproved by the discovery of fundamental particles heavier than the Higgs Boson. Therefore, it is possible that the multiverse may be a physical reality. If so, what elements of the modal realism premises may still be consistent with physics? Would any new branches of realism be explored? If yes, what would they say?
