Modern Day #Propaganda in the #War on the #Poor Across Britain, Europe and the US governments are promulgating the myth of austerity; this word ‘#austerity’ carefully chosen to invoke the spirit of post war ‘all in it together’ frugality. The political consensus is that we all need to ‘tighten our belts’; apparently we all had it too good for too long and now we need to pay the price. In reality, austerity only exists for the masses.
