Modi deserves a thank from future generation of Indians for shifting away from populism which destroyed Euro economy and now killing Indian economy as well. Train fare hike is well due for a long time. Rail is loosing approximately 24,500 crores a year. You can not run a Govt on subsidies because that means a Govt on debt ridden unsustainable path of Greece where a whole country can be destroyed once they are trapped in debt. There is a difference between a politician and administrator-an administrator must be judged by his ability to take unpopular decision. And here Modi wins hands down over other. It is unfortunate that AAP and others are making it an issue and proving themselves far worse than Modi when it is a matter of administration. Modi has a strong mandate for governance and not politics. Indians who voted for him are fed up by populist politicians. When will that be recognized by his opponents? Sooner they recognize it better or Modi is going to rule for another 15 years.
