Modi giving speech to american pro gujrati NRI community in Madison Square garden may be seen as a strong patriotic gesture..however the harsh reality suggests that the majority of audience sitting there have hardly anything to do with India in terms of their contribution to India..They, in the first place left India for better oppurtunities or a better life..now the PM telling them Sapno ka bharat banega doesnt hold much meaning when none of them actually plan to come back to India ! More absurd is the comparision with MK Gandhi - as if even one in the audience will have a turn over like the legend ! This speech is just building good will gesture amongst the fellow NRIs nothing more or less than that !
