Teacher friends, I made my first set of Phonics Word Sort Task Cards - /s/ and /j/ sound to go along with the progression we are using in our system. Anyone want to look at it for some feedback? Included is a word list with 48 words with the /s/ and /j/ sounds that can be printed and 13 task cards leading students to sort words based on their sound and the way it is spelled. An answer key is also included so students can self-check. Hole punch the cards with a ring or leave them loose.
