Mohamed Bangura has set bad example in politics Says MKM The new political Czer Mohamed K Mansary who is the leader of the Alliance Democratic Movement (ADM) has said over the media that his young political counterpart Mohamed Bangura the founder and Chairman of the United Democratic Movement (UDM) Party, has laid “bad example in Sierra Leone politics...” especially for young aspiring people who want to become great politicians in Sierra Leone. He made this comment while he was talking about his new political movement after his former party the All Peoples Congress (APC) ignored to upgrade his membership card. He justified his assertion by referencing the 2012 elections were at the tail-end for people to go to the polls; Bangura disappointed his supporters by asking them to vote for the ruling party APC. He added that the UDM Leader “has not paved the way for him”. Mansary continued to explain that some of the communities he had visited to propagate his political ideology, the people often said to him if he will not be like Mohamed Bangura of UDM. The ADM Leader noted that after lots of young people have thrown their support to Mohamed Bangura, young people risk their lives and later Bangura UDM turn them down. He assured members of the public that he would not be such politician. The young politician who started as a civil right activist stoutly said “all the political parties in Sierra Leone do not have ideology including his former party”. He maintained that one of the reasons why he had wanted to run for presidential candidate of his former party was to change the APC political ideology. One among them would been to remove the APC party selection process of people in executive position to democratic election process. He added that if his former party would have given him the chance he will have also ensure that he broke the york of ethnic divide and cronyism syndrome in the party and inject more young people to man the affairs of the party among other things. MKM said his new democratic movement stands for women empowerment especially for the promotion of the girl child education that is why the logo of his party is pink . We will know the answer as time unfold because he has challenged that all older older political parties don’t have ideology. It could be be recalled that Mohamed Bangura was suspended from the Peoples Movement for Democratic Party (PMDC) as chairman, before he formed his own party UDM. On the other hand, MKM was rejected by his former party.
