Whilst it is hard for me to have a single favorite verse within the Quran as verses have their impact based on the mental and emotional state of mind, two verses that have remained the most regularly repeated ones by me to myself are: [And certainly We have given you seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the grand Quran. Do not extend your eyes to what We have given certain classes of them to enjoy, and do not grieve for them, and make yourself gentle to the believers.] Al-Hijr 87-88
