Mom and I went up to see dad yesterday. He was awake when we got there and the nurse said he had been awake most of the day. He was talking better(trac hole is almost closed up)...still confused about things, which could be the pain meds. Had some apple juice with thickener in it, and he had about 1/2 cup. I think that is the most he has had by mouth in a while. So thankful for dads nurse (one of many) Rosie she made a phone call to get dad a exercise ball so dad can start strengthen his hands, well now occupational therapy is going to come up to SICU and work with dad two to three times a week. So we are excited about that, its going to help dad so much. Thank you for all your prayers!!
