Mom has had a busy few days. The DForce team has been out in full support. Brent was with us on Friday, bringing lots of news from Red Deer. Patty and Piper had lunch with Mom and entertained her with Pipers ukelele. Tracy drove from Calgary for late afternoon, dinner and will go back to the hospital for breakfast before she heads home. Mark is going to watch some of the Saskatchewan game with Mom tomorrow. Hope she doesnt get worn out with all of the activities! Its taking an incredible amount of energy to work at building upper body strength and healing that wound. On top of it all Mom has to keep the doctors and nurses in line. One of the plastics came in early yesterday to check her wound before the vacuum dressing was put back on. He didnt say a word to her and turned to go out the door. Mom yelled at him and said come back and tell me whats going on. Lucky for him, he did turn around and proceeded to tell her that the wound looked good. She was furious that he was going to just walk away after shed been waiting for his evaluation. The nerve of him!!!
