Mom is doing better today. She just got back from her scan and is doing well enough they have stopped the TPN and will be removing the sheath in her leg. The clots are still there, but are responding to the meds. Her gasses are doing well. She is resting well. As scary as it is, I think she made the right decision on the vent. They did have to sedate her a lil more due to her pulling her vent and iv out. She was awake enough for them to explain to her what was going on and why she needed to stop. But she is comfortable and even thought the machine is doing it for her, it is great seeing her breathe with ease.
