Mom update. Surgery tomorrow. Another CT scan because elbow has more bone fragments than orthopedic surgeon saw first time. Double check for steel plate and screws. Fever during the night so possible infection from blood in belly or broken bones. Fever comes and goes. Doppler to check for clots in legs because of severe pain all the way down leg...right down to her toes. Rehab next so making decisions about that. I was actually asked today if I wanted to drive my mother to rehab! I said absolutely not!! Not in the severe pain she is in. No, by ambulance and called insurance co. To see what I need to do to make sure they pay for it! Visited the place where my mother fell and took pictures of the doorway. I informed the business that I hired a lawyer and they apologized and told me that they have my mothers fall on video. I told them I want a copy of it. Ever time I see the situation there or think about how my mother is suffering because of it I tear up!
