Moments after taking some heat about something in my personality that I have been working to improve from someone else that cant let go and allow me to grow, I get a beautiful voicemail regarding someone that Id inspired to take a huge, life changing leap of faith. Isnt God amazing??!! Just when the enemy thought he had me back in my head chatter, God sent someone to speak life to my heart. And to remind me that it matters not what people think or say about me, but what God thinks and says of me. Its sad that Ill leave some people in my past, but Im realizing if they were ever truly my friend theyd only want the best for me. They would anticipate and welcome my growth. AND the stronghold that had me stuck for a while: You became successful and you then you changed. Now, you think youre better than me has been CRUSHED!! Now, I am acutely aware that first I changed and as a result I became successful. I am successful because I was willing to stretch and grow. I was willing to learn and CHANGE--imagine that. And I will never think that Im better than anyone. I know we are all made to serve Him with our own unique gifts. We are all equally valuable.
