There are FB friends of mine who feel the following ways: If Im willing to accept a grand jury verdict, Im a racist. If Im critical of President Obamas policies, Im a racist. If Im worried about the impact of Muslim extremism, Im a racist. If I believe that current immigration laws should be enforced, Im a racist. This sounds like polarizing after being criticized for being critical. FROM A NON OBAMA SUPPORTING, NON MUSLIM ADVOCATE OF IMMIGRATION REFORM, LEMME CLEAR IT UP A LITTLE: The willingness to accept a jury verdict in the Mike Brown case doesnt make you racist: The UNWILLINGNESS to accept an18 year old of any OTHER race being guilty of stealing cigars, shot several times while UNARMED and left in the street dead for HOURS, with no medical aid, while still somewhere in your head being ok with the jury verdict in the Mike Brown case DOES. Being critical of President Obamas policies doesnt make you racist: Being critical of Obamas policies to the point of calling him the worst President in history with any knowledge of GEORGE BUSHS handy work doesnt EITHER, but it makes you SUSPECT. Being worried about the impact of Muslim extremism doesnt make you racist: Being worried about the impact of Muslim extremism and not calling Hiroshima, Nagasaki, the African Slave trade, the Tuskeegee experiment, germ warfare on the Indians, Japanese internment camps and Hitlers campaign CHRISTIAN EXTREMISM IS. Hope that clears it up.
