(I REACH) I reach cause I hurt. I reach cause they forget and neglect the fact that I can not fend for myself I reach cause the hunger entraps my mind and body. My spirit and will to live keeps me alive so I survive each day wondering will I fill my belly. So my inner self tell me to reach one more time to reach one more climb to full fill my mission of living in this prison without bars. I pray to the stars in heaven begging not to grow up as a peasant in a world where a loaf of bread is my christmas present. The blessing I never received from heaven. Im uncertain of my age I could be six or seven. I reach to you lord can you fix the present, I’m tired of this life Ive shown you I can endure the weather. No cloths, no shoes, no food or sweaters. Im the definition of struggle, it storms and I dont use umbrellas. So I reach cause I have no choice, I yell with no voice, I cry with no tears, I sleep with fears of nightmares that my reality will be the cause of my casualty. I guess its sad for me but yet I reach. Will someone put something in my hand that wont disappear like sand. I would love to grow up a man with a chance to work and go to church. This life hurts when my everyday life consist of me wondering what is the purpose of my birth. A hearse is my future I know but before I go I will reach as long as I can. So when you think your life is hard just think about me and reach. ( I REACH )
