Keep kids indoors, have lots of liquid refreshments on tap encouraging your children to keep sipping away throughout the day and dress lightly. Get creative with indoor activities: big empty cardboard boxes which will provide hours of stimulating fun, sensory boxes (fill small plastic containers with interesting items. You can theme the boxes, use safe items, try to use natural items which offer great tactile stimulation, theme the sensory boxes by colour or a subject, etc. try some finger painting. Just be creative and stay cool indoors. If youre travelling in the car, use the aircon (or windows) , be sure your little one is well hydrated, etc.
