Mona Shores, Muskegon trade spots in 400-meter relays MUSKEGON -- The Mona Shores Sailors win the boys event in the 400-meter relay while Muskegons Big Reds counter by taking the girls race. The Mona Shores foursome of Jared Steger, Michael Grissom, Matt Schuiteman and Marquon Sargent wins the race with a 44.31-second clocking. The foursome improved in the Division I state meet by taking eighth with a 42.8-second time Saturday. The time ties the all-time area record in the event set by Muskegon Catholic Central in 1981 and Muskegon in 1982. In the girls race, the Muskegon foursome of Raven Moore, Shawnteanna Dame, Sheshona Collins and Kynihay Brown wins the race with a 50.64-second clocking. Second places in the events went to Muskegon in the boys race and Mona Shores in the girls race.
