Monday 10th March | YOU ARE UNTOUCHABLE Mar. 10, 2014 “And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. And his brethren said to him, shalt thou indeed reign over us? Or shalt thou have dominion over us?….(Genesis 37 vs 5,8). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today. It is instructive to observe that Joseph received two things in our Scripture Reading: he got a coat of many colours from his father, and he got a dream from God. He got a gift from man, and he got another gift from God. Notice that in the process of time, his brothers robbed him of his coat of many colours, but they couldn’t take his dream away from him. They took what a man gave to him, but what God gave to him remained intact. They took what was designed by man, but what he received that was designed by God was untouchable. His coat may have been touchable, but his destiny was untouchable. Friend, God says your destiny is untouchable. No man can truncate God’s plan for you; no man can stop what God has in store for you. Every word God has spoken concerning you will come to pass irrespective of your haters. Every promise God has made to you will be fulfilled in your life even if your adversaries have vowed that nothing good will come to you. Those that hate you can only fight but they can’t stop you. No one will take your place in life. No one will take the opportunities that God made for you. Remember, men may take your coat, but they can’t take your dream. They may tamper with the physical things around you, but they can’t do anything about your destiny. Pray with me, “Lord, I declare that my destiny is untouchable in Jesus name”.
