Monday 27th January 2014: Max Effort Lower, Accessory & Conditioning: Level 1: - Back Squat 3 x 5 (20mins) Level 2: - 20mins to establish a 1RM Front Squat - Individual Accessory Block* (15mins) Conditioning** A) 21:15:9 of - Front Squat (50/35kg) - Burpee (10min cap) Rest 5mins, then B) 8min AMRAP of - 200m Run - 20 KBell Swing (CF, 24/16kg) *Each athlete has a 15min block to work on their own individual and specific accessory work as prescribed by their assigned coaches. **We have a number of athletes participating in the beginners competition in Tipperary in February so our conditioning programming will be aimed at helping get our athletes ready for it over the next couple of weeks with more of an emphasis on shorter more intense WODs as opposed to longer aerobic capacity training.
