Monday. 6th/7th day of Zul-Qaadah.My inspiration to write this post came from a New Revert: Amazingly a Muslimah who reverted to Islam a few months ago in whom I saw determination and zeal to learn and practice her deen. This is something that we as Old reverts and Muslims who were born raised in Islam need to implement and learn from to strengthen our deen. Please read through what she shared with me yesterday. Salaam Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh, Brothers and Sisters. I was studying the Quran and the verses I read this morning really moved me and give me so much joy. I love Allah and the love that I have for Allah allows me to love you too. I dont have to meet you or be born of your family to love you. The best way I can show this love is to offer prayers for you and remind you of the greatness of Allah. I want to share these verses with you and I pray it helps you as it did to me. Alhamdulilah! Allah says: Wherever you come from, turn your face to the Sacred Mosque; wherever you may be, turn your faces towards it, so that people will not have any argument against you except for wrongdoers among them. Do not fear them, fear Me, so that I may perfect My favour to you and you may be rightly guided. Thus We have sent among you a Messenger of your own to recite Our revelations to you, purify you and teach you the Quran and wisdom, and to teach you what you did not know. So remember Me, I will remember you. Be thankful to Me and do not be ungrateful. You who believe, seek help through patience and prayer; surely, Allah is with the steadfast. Do not say that those who are killed in Allahs cause are dead; they are alive, but you are not aware of it. We shall certainly test you with fear and hunger, and loss of property, lives and crops. Oh Muhammad(S.A.W), Give good news to those who endure with fortitude. Those who says, when afflicted with a calamity, We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return, the ones who will have blessings and mercy from their Lord: it is they who are on the right path! (Quran 2:150-157). *from those who repent and mend their ways and make known the truth, I will certainty accept their repentance: I am the Ever Relenting, the Most Merciful. (Quran 2;160-161). Allahu Akbar. These verses are beautiful as is the whole word of God. All we face in this dunya makes you feel hopeless sometimes. But, Allah told us to fear Him and stay strong. Look to Allah for your strength and pray. Not just for yourself and other Muslims but, for those whom have yet to believe as well. Pray for their repentance, for Allah will certainty accept. Allah is aware of all your going through and this is only a test, be grateful to Him. Do not be sad for those killed in Palatine, Syria, Iraq, Central African Republic, Congo, Egypt, Mali,Sierra Leone,Liberia,Guinea, Nigeria, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan and in so many other places. If they are believers they are not dead but alive, to Allah they will surely return. Hold strong to your faith, not just that but trust Allah completely. Draw nearer to Allah, obey His instructions and walk the path of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him). I love you sincerely and if I never meet you on earth maybe well meet in Jannat. In sha Allah. Pray for me as I pray for you. Isnt this beautiful from a new Muslim? Arent you ashamed for not finding time to learn the Quran and spread it since you were raised as Muslim for so many years? Lets Wake up my brothers and sisters and lets stop blaming others and study our deen and spread to others. Thats the only way to success as Allah clearly mentioned in the Quran. May Allah have mercy on us and increase us in knowledge and forgive our sins. Aamin.
