Monday 8/25/14 Jenna Claires & Averys birthday party was a huge success. Thanks everyone for coming. Ashley was determined to be there and she was. We brought her a fan and she was able to stay to sing Happy Birthday & to video the girls opening their presents. A whole hour. Im so very proud of her. She is dealing with everything the best way she can. It has to be tough to deal with hurting everyday and for your whole life to change in a instant. She doesnt really complain unless in serious pain. Shes moody sometimes but grateful. If I was in her shoes, I do not know if I could handle it as well as she does. Today was a happy day but it was an emotional day for me. I felt tears right at the surface. Everything was wonderful but yet the mother in me was worrying about Ashley at home while trying to enjoy Jennas party. Granted Ash wasnt home alone but considering the circumstances I will probably worry for a while. My hubby doesnt get enough thank yous from me...its just as hard on him. Our whole life is turned upside down but we try to keep heading forward. Thanks for the prayers, kindness & generosity. All the prayers keep us going. ♡♡♡♡ God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1
