Monroe police have identified the victim as Quintarious Brooks, 26, who was shot when unknown subject or subjects forced entry into 1009 Windsor Drive. The victim struggled with his assailant and he was shot, transported from the scene and pronounced dead later at Clearview Regional. A second resident of the home was unharmed. MPD officials and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are investigating this incident and ask anyone that has information about this crime to contact Cpt S.W.
