Month of Teri, Day 20 ~ 1) What a FANTASTIC weekend. I am saddened to see it come to a close. In the wee hours of Saturday morning we decided to make a last minute road trip to see my mom in the upper peninsula of Michigan. It was so worth the 4 hour car ride! 2) First, I got to drop in on the impromptu class of 1988 mini meet up at Chicagoan Lake. I didnt tell anyone we were coming and I am so happy I got to see Theresa Weeks, Susan Ketchum & Lori Urban Abata. Such terrific women and so great to catch up if only for a brief amount of time. Well get together again soon I promise! 3) Spent the night at my moms house and visited with my beautiful and so incredibly well mannered, good natured, smart, funny and talented nieces Breana Stachowicz and Kaitlyn. So happy to see everyone! 4) Petey the Poop Eater Manisto got to meet his #1 Fan - the one and only Carolyn Brousseau. If you missed the pictures I posted earlier this evening you will see her telling Petey how much she loves him. Its precious!!! 5) Today we headed out early from moms house and stopped in Iron River to say hello and hug on Sherri Hytinen Tarsi - I never get tired of her beautiful smile and sweet spirit! 6) Took Scott to see Bond Falls and it is as beautiful as I remember it. I had not been there in about 15 years - we even drove through the campsites and I found the one that our family used to stay at when all the cousins would run around like crazy people! Such good memories 7) Now, it is time to take a break from my picture uploading, facebook catch up - for now it is time to enjoy a tasty pasty from The Pasty Corner and I can hardly wait!!! I was smart this trip and stocked up the freezer!!! Last but not least 8) I am so thankful for amazing family - not only did I get to stay at my moms but I got to talk to my dad on the phone on the drive down, visit with my grandparents on the phone too, see my wonderful nieces who live all the out in Virginia, plus great friends! I am so blessed to be able to have made the trip. Thank you to my husband Scott for the early birthday present!!!!! I am so very grateful indeed!!!
