Monthly Artisan Market Saturday 27th July 2013 Press Release On Saturday 27th July 2013 between 12.00 – 6.00pm, Longford Town Council will host the first Monthly Artisan Market on the Market Square, Longford. This project is carried out in association with Longford Chamber of Commerce and Shannonside Radio. The objective is to provide a family orientated event where local artists, food producers and a selection of craft business can showcase their wares in a novel, fun filled environment in the centre of Longford. As well as a fantastic selection of stalls, music and entertainment for children will be provided throughout the day. Shannonside Radio will broadcast directly from the Market Square, in what will be a day dedicated to the promotion of Longford as friendly, fun filled environment to shop. Applications for a “pitch” can only be made through Longford Town Council. Forms are available at Longford Town Council, Municipal Offices, Market Square, Longford or may be requested by emailing [email protected] As there are obviously only a limited number of spaces available, applications will be processed on a first come, first served basis. This is totally FREE OF CHARGE and demand should be high, so get in quick to avoid disappointment. Successful applicants will be subject to certain terms and conditions, so make sure to carefully read the application before submitting.
