Montys story. A few weeks ago my wife Jodi, her sister Deb, a friend, Jim and I were hiking the trail from Los Ayala to El Monteon when we came across an emaciated dog with a bad leg that stopped him from walking properly. We found him on the jungle trail about an hour from Los Ayala, where he had probably been dropped off to die. We carried him out and after getting his shots and cleaning him up, we took him to a vet in Puerto Vallarta. A couple of days later he had surgery and the leg had to be removed. Unfortunately our new pal Monty couldnt fly back to Calgary with us last week as his incision hadnt healed but he will be ready to fly home any time in the next two weeks. He is now having a great time running and playing and is being looked after by the kind dog angel, Sarah Walker! We are really excited to have Monty join us and meet his new doggy brother Guinness and his doggy sister Zoe. Would anyone be able to accompany Monty back to Calgary, or even to Abbotsford or Vancouver? We will arrange to get him to the airport in PV and have all of his medical paperwork with him. Nothing to do other than to check him in and we will be there to meet you at the Canadian end. Please message me if you might be able to help. Any help for Monty will be greatly appreciated.
