Moon Festival is coming. It’s on the full-moon night of the 8th month of the lunar year. This year, it will be on September. On this festival, kids will have chance to enjoy delicious moon cakes, play the colorful lanterns, sing and dance under to charming autumn moonlight. It’s always the unforgettable moments for any kids in their childhood. However, not all parents can afford for their kids some cakes and lanterns due to their poverty. I experienced my childhood and understand how it felt when looking at the kids of the neighborhood playing lanterns and I had nothing in my hands. Our charity team-Tam Thien Bui Doi would like to bring some happiness to the kids from poor families in the rural areas during this year Moon Festival. We want to bring as much as high quality and delicious cakes to the kids from the financial support we receive from the supporters thus we will bake our own cake to control the cost and quality. This year we are planning to make 5,000 pieces of moon cakes (estimate cost $1.5/cake). You are warmly invited to this event.
