Moon photos done with a Canon SX50 HS And I think they were all - TopicsExpress

Moon photos done with a Canon SX50 HS And I think they were all hand held shots. The camera has very effective image stabilisation that makes these shots possible by hand. This sensor is 1/6th size (approx.) so it will never be able to take great shots and the image degrades at ISO 400 but it can take good shots in outdoor bright light situations (and the moon). It has a 50x optical zoom and if you think that the images must be terrible with distortion and pronounced chromatic aberration with that sort of optical zoom range then you would be right except the image gets processed by the camera to fix these faults and it creates good jpegs out of the poor raw images. flickr/groups/2082775@N20/pool/tags/moonshot/
