My eyes weren’t even open yet and my sisters stopped moving, but brother ERNIE seemed okay. Raccoons, foxes and hawks were stalking us. We were scared and shaking. Something grabbed us and soon a warm liquid filled our tummies. We have a fairy godmother, a cozy lap and our own family now. BONNIE. I was starving, afraid and when people came near, I’d run. But they trapped us. The vet was very sad. He could see someone had poured an acid on me. CLYDE was in worse shape. I was not a pretty kitty and am FIV positive. The vet doesn’t think we will live but they are giving us antibiotics, steroids and Silvadene. We’ll show them – we still have 8 lives and lots of trouble to get into! BORIS. I was huddled in a litterbox in the pouring rain. I was soaking wet. My leg was broken. I was a mess with clumpy cat litter stuck to me. I got lucky when NATASHA found me, picked me up, washed me off and got me the medical care I needed. My new human is happy with me. She says I’m a purring delight that needs to be loved. Yes I do!
