More Postgraduate Opportunity Level PhD (in Engineering) Candidate – by Research Research Topic : Enterococci Die-off and Fate Model in Tropical Waters Synopsis : The study entails spatial sampling for characterization of Enterococci bacterium in surface water bodies (rivers, estuaries and coastal areas). Besides bacteria, analysis of other relevant (environmental and water quality) parameters that influence microbial survivability will also be done. The data will then be analyzed to determine the bacterium die-off rate and also to develop a die-off model.
