More Thorough Update Mom was showing signs of improvement for about 24 hours. Her temp was staying down to around 99.6/99.8. We have known that encephalitis could cause seizures especially with the severe case that mom has. We thought that she maybe past that point. The doctors are still just saying its gonna take time. One of the main things that has worried us is the fact of a few years ago, when she fell from the roof of her house. She had a very bad head injury then and has always had problems from that. With that being said, the infection and inflamation on her brain has caused her to be very confused and to ask the same questions over and over and to also forget some of the most important things in her life. She is responding to doctors and She is still running a fever but thinkfully it is being controlled better with tylenol and motrin better than days passed. She could continue to be in this state of mind from 7 to 14 more days or longer. The disease she has is just very unpredictable and very rare meaning not much is known about it. That being said anyone who has it or has had it can be affected much differently. I hope I have answered everybodys questions. I am trying to update as much as I can and am myself super super busy. My family and I appreciate your calls, txt, emails, and and prayers more than you all will ever know. We love you all very much and as soon as I know more I will try to let you all know.
