More Vermont: yesterday Monday was a HOT ride out of Woodstock Vermont on Route 4 onto 100 north past ski areas along meandering rivers of everyones ideal - past the Long a Trail Brewery and a shame I could not stop and have one but the ride was far more important - the ride through the town (name?) that cut off in both directions for days by all the flooding from Sandy - ending up at delightful permaculture B and B old farm house - chickens and ducks and kitties running around and a delightful 68 year old lady running this place while holding down a full time nursing position in Middlebury - wow - how does one maintaine such a pace ? It has been interesting to hear other peoples stories from a cycling perspective where you go slow and pay atention
