School systems (daycare up) push parents to get diagnosis so they have access to special funding programs which enhance their dollar bottom line. Over diagnosis: every kid that had a cough in the 90s was given asthma medication. Population growth. Just trying to be a bit level headed here. Although there is a portion of kids who will react to MMR or any vaccines, that number is actually VERY low. There has never been a link proven between vaccinating a child and Autism. From what they are finding the link is GENETIC and no drug, or lack there of will save a child from, or make a child autistic. If you have an autistic kid it means you have to think outside the box. It can either be a stress (judging your child as not normal and making excuses or being embarrassed of them) or a magnificent journey with a person who allows you into their world...
