Screen Daily reports that Synchronicity Entertainment president of international distribution Ruzanna Kegeyan, who heads The Solution Entertainment Group division, will kick off talks with Cannes buyers on the supernatural thriller. Nightlight will screen at the market and will open in the US through Lionsgate. Scott Beck and Bryan Woods directed what is being styled as an innovative take on the found footage genre told from a singular point of view. Shelby Young, Chloe Bridges, Carter Jenkins, Mitch Hewer and Taylor Murphy star in the story of five friends who head to the woods for fun and games and disturb a demonic presence. Norton Herrick, Michael London, Darren Brandl and Janice Williams produce and Gregory Plotkin, Kelly Mullen, Peter D Graves and Mike Herrick are the executive producers. More soon!
