More great information for coaches. Know your role. Its ok to say you dont know and its ok to refer out to specialists. All trainers should have a professional network of specialists that they work with to get optimal results for their clients. Insecurity and fear often drives trainers not doing this, unfortunately though to their detriment and their clients. Clients will often find out if you are bullshitting them. Its best to refer out so you can look like a rockstar. Its also not a trainers job to diagnose like a Physiotherapist, Chiropractor Osteopath or GP, but this is also conversely true-it isnt ok for those health professionals to think that its ok for them to teach strength and conditioning or for the most part movement. How many times have you heard these guys tell people they shouldnt do something? Know your role and know others as well. Good stuff here. breakingmuscle/coaching-business/know-your-role-its-okay-to-say-you-dont-know
