More information from VUW... I am a law student – what happens to my classes this week? All Law tutorials scheduled at all campus locations are cancelled this week. All 300 level LAWS courses are cancelled for this week. All 100 level LAWS courses normally held at Kelburn Campus will go ahead as usual. The Pipitea streams have been relocated to Kelburn or Karori – please see your Blackboard notification. LAWS211 and 213 are cancelled this week. LAWS212 and 214 have been relocated – please see Blackboard for those changes. Please check your course Blackboards for course-specific updates. Some classes are still being rescheduled so you must check regularly. I am a Commerce student – what happens to my classes this week? All Commerce lectures and tutorials taking place on the Pipitea Campus have been cancelled for this week. Commerce lectures, tutorials or teaching taking place at Kelburn are going ahead as scheduled. I missed some classes when the University was closed on Monday. Will these be rescheduled? Lectures cancelled on Monday will not be formally rescheduled. It is early in the trimester and lecturers will ensure that essential material is covered in remaining classes. Some tutorials may be rescheduled and lecturers will advise affected students accordingly. Information will be provided later this week regarding Commerce and Law classes cancelled this week. I want to withdraw from a Trimester Two course. What do I do? This Friday, 26 July, is the deadline for students who are already enrolled to give notice of withdrawal from a Trimester Two course and receive a refund of tuition fees. Friday will remain the deadline for this. If you have done the paperwork to withdraw from a course, you don’t need to do anything else. Your withdrawal is being processed. If you have not yet applied to withdraw, please get your application in as soon as possible.
