More lessons learned: When I snap at my husband or kids, they usually snap back. When I use kind words, they usually use kind words back. Note to self: Quit being so snappy. Sheesh. Kids have so little control over what happens during their days. However, they do have control over what goes into their bodies and what comes out. Once they get that, its all over. Yeah. Its definitely over. Tonight, after reading the book called Six Busy Days a story of creation, Jacob prayed and thanked God for creating M&Ms, ice cream and pizza. And going to a restaurant in our silver car to get pizza. In that order. Can you guess what his diet consisted of today? Then he asked God if Adam was allowed to eat pizza, ice cream and M&Ms. In the pizza shop, before we ate, Jacob folded his hands and in typical fashion (shouting) prayed God is great, God is good. And we thank you for this food. At this point a man, who was enamored with him, interrupted Jacobs prayer and asked him how old he was. Jacob said Hold on! Im prayin! My laughter at the mans facial reaction was uncontrollable. Note to self: never interrupt a praying child. Duh. Zaks guitar teacher asked him if he wanted to rock out to some Iron Maiden. Zak replied he would prefer Mercy Me. LOL! The innocence! I wish I could dead pan an answer like that. Priceless. Be blessed yall.
