The front runner from the early part of 2014 Daniel Bryan suffered a traumatic neck injury and that knocked him out of the picture. John Cena had another great year but hes finishing the year without the World title. Brock Lesnar the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion had two stunning performances this year when he ended The Undertakers Streak at Wrestlemania and obliterated John Cena at Survivor Series, but I dont think you can base an entire year on two matches, and I think Cena had Lesnar beat at Text Continued in the Comments Section
