More on Marriage. Its hard to believe I have been formally attached for ten years. Those that know me also know Katie and I dated for almost 5 years before tying the knot. Hoping that long courtships means longer marriages. ( I hope) What you may not know is she dumped me several times. (mostly my fault) It has been said in jest that I am a high functioning sociopath. I am sure some of my friends and exes would agree. Contrary to appearances I can be cold and calculated. I can be antisocial but I try never to be mean ( that is one of the separations from a psychopath)lol My wife on the other hand is a friend. If you have the honor of her friendship you know what I mean. If your in her orbit your better for it. In many ways we are not so much opposites its more that our actions and energy comes from different places. I live for the game. I say things just to get a reaction. Always poking and prodding to test for weakness. Katie loves people. She loves conversation and fellowship. When your with her its not a competition she gives her time freely like candy. You leave her feeling light and happy. Sometime stress creeps in as she handle 3 little Daniel Clones but I venture that of her many friends all would agree she elevates those she is around. My energy is external while Katies springs out of her. I know I am not all bad. I just wanted to say that as a realist who knows my shortcomings I find it interesting that I was gifted by God a wife/ helpmate that embodies all the strengths that match my weakness. That is how you define A Blessing in my dictionary. The one hope is that my midgets learn to be half the friend their mother is then they would be blessed as well.
