More proof to the City Manager and SA Chamber of Commerce, who by the way sides with the city on THE REDUCTION OF HEALTH CARE for the city police and fire, that the officers risk their lives each and every day for the protection of the citizens of the city of San Antonio. Early this morning a San Antonio Police Officer chasing a burglary suspect came face to face with the suspect on the citys N.E. side. The suspect fired, the officer returned fire and THANK GOD the officer with the backing of the good Lord came out victorious and is alive (no disrespect to other city employees, but how many other city departments on a daily basis work on the edge of danger by running towards gun fire to protect others or running into a raging fire to protect others) . San Antonio is a great city with a great police and fire force, probably some of the best in the country and the city manager slowly but surely is trying to unravel these two great departments. The city counsel needs to wake up and see what is really occurring before it is two late....I wonder why the news media is afraid of the city manager and does not do any investigations on the city manager and her greed for money?.
