More reason to say, WOW!! Thanks to the continued support of family and friends, near and far, my little head shaving - fund raising scheme has garnered over $3000.00 and, as should be noted, is definitely moving toward the $4000.00 mark!! In fact, the scheme gets better! Phil is willing to get in on the act by shaving his head if the donations top $5000.00!! Thats right, folks, both of us could be sporting a new look this winter!! I can only imagine the pictures!! On a more serious note, people weve never met before are sending in money as a result of hearing Lukes story. I cannot begin to describe the sense of appreciation I have right now toward everyone who is demonstrating their willingness to help in such a real way. Just yesterday someone said to me: I cant become an oncologist overnight. I cannot cure this thing called cancer, but I can use the resources I have to help those who can. Once again, I want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your continued support.
