“More than 1000 genes have been linked to autism,” Associate Professor Claudianos said. “Importantly, there are many different combinations of these genes that can actually lead to the disorder and we have found that no two individuals with autism have the same causal genetic signatures.” Look at that??!! FINALLY!!! And, if it is such a vast array of genetics, and understanding the fragility of DNA structure, that possibly, just maybe, environmental factors can affect one of the thousand possibilities to in fact cause Autism... Do you mean to tell me what I have been saying for the last four years that autism can, in fact, be caused by either pathway??? That is isnt just one way for it to occur??? But, I still sit here and look at my children, who came back zippo on the genetic testing two years ago, and still say they havent dug far enough yet - great start, now lets keep the momentum going!!!
