More than 14 million Texans have registered to vote in the November elections, the secretary of state’s office announced Thursday, calling the number a record high. Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector Mike Sullivan said the trend was impressive given the fact it’s an off-year election. In Bexar and Dallas counties — two of the most populous in the state — voter registration outpaced expected population growth from 2012 to 2014. The secretary of state’s office counted 14,025,441 registered voters for the elections on Nov. 4. The previous record was in 2012, when more than 13.6 million voters signed up. Wendy Davis has shown she can stand toe-to-toe with the radicals and land punches just like they have! Keep going! Do not let your guard down. We must take down this red regime solidly. Keep exhorting democrats, disillusioned Republicans and Independents to vote. It is at the local and state level where the greatest control can and has been used to Gerrymander and pass legislation to limit voter access to the ballot box! Your vote is your voice! blog.chron/texaspolitics/2014/10/record-14m-texans-register-to-vote/
