More than 250 runners participated on Saturdays 10-5-2 Prairie Run at Fort Riley. The 10-mile winner was Spc. Samual Kosgei, 1-6 Cavalry Regiment, 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, with a time of 50:13. Pvt. Clay Hawkins of the 1 ID 2HBCT 1-63CAB won the five-mile run with a time of 31:51. Teddy Oteba, the son of a 1st Sustainment Brigade Soldier, won the two-mile race with a time of 11:21.
