More than five thousand delegates of the NPP are in Tamale this weekend to select leaders as they prepare to battle the NDC for the power in 2016. Two successive defeats for the NPP have begun raising questions about whether the party benefited from quality leadership. MP Fred Opare Ansah has already launched a campaign to get current executives voted out. Current executives however say they did what was required to win the party power but luck eluded them. on Ghana Connect we’ll be live in Tamale where the NPP’s National Executive Election is due to take place at the conference. What should delegates consider in electing their new executives? Jake Obetsebi Lamptey, Stephen Ntim, Paul Afoko and Fred Oware will lock horns for the chairmanship position.
