More than one way to entertain There were two amazingly entertaining games of rugby league on the weekend, each played in a completely different style to the other. The Bulldogs 6-4 victory over the Storm on Saturday night was one of the most intense and fiercely contested club matches we have witnessed in a long time. Despite the fact only two tries were scored in the 80 minutes of football, the attacking raids and ball movement from both sides was outstanding. Fast forward to Monday night, where the Panthers and Broncos produced 12 tries (six each) with some sparkling attacking football, only to see the final result decided by a last-minute field goal, much to the joy of the home-town fans. Twice the Panthers got themselves out to big leads, only to see the never-say-die Broncos come roaring back at them to level up. Two outstanding games of rugby league, both played in a tremendous spirit, but entertaining in different ways. I love rugby league.
