More to follow soon - I reached the finish line. I did not make the 48 hours that I aimed for but the condtions in the race was hard. Snow, high vind, sun, hail, rain was a part of the cocktail. Wet feet for almost 51 hours - not a picture that I will post but will take a few days before it has healed up again. I am so pleased that my friend Michael Rasmussen was there with me for the entire race. He could have smashed the time with potential for podium but he was great support during the crisis. Had he not been there I am confident that it would have been a DNF. I probably recieved a cold during the race that prevented me from breathing normally, so doing the clims it was extremely tough and my heart rate was rocket high. I did it and new PR on longest race and distance so far. More to follow in the coming days - I am tired and need sleep as we raced through 2 nights with no sleep or rest. 😴
