More up and down with Mike the Cat... His latest problem is constipation. This has been gradually worsening over the last several days. Weve tried the usual home remedies, but those arent doing the trick. Hes eating and drinking fairly normally. Im not seeing that is a side-effect of the Adequan drug, either. If he doesnt go tonight, Ill call the vet in the morning to make an appointment. On the bright side... Though he showed zero interest in going outside today, I took a gamble and carried him to the front step and set him down. After a slow start, he got some momentum, went to the back of the house, and explored the whole back yard - the first time hes done that in a couple weeks. Also, he seems to be sleeping very comfortably, not showing any signs of discomfort. And I havent noticed straining or unproductive trips when hes using the litter box. But were kind of obsessed with the latest issue. Hes definitely way outside his norm. We would love to see some litter box action tonight...
